ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY

Did you ever experience violence at school because you did something wrong?
If you did it affect you in a good way or bad way?
Corporal punishment effects are good because it is fast,but on the other side,
it is really bad for students. Therefore corporal punishment in school should be banned.
These are the reasons why.

First, it is not the teacher's job to hit students.
Why do you think there are teacher's in school?
Because, they have to fix students behavior.
Teachers have to be like friends to the students.
Then when students have problems,they will tell it to their teachers.
Teachers have to try to solve problems with students,but not hit them.
In evidence, there was a teacher who hit a student a hundred times so the student committed suicide.

Second,students are not just animals.
People are not the same as bears or fish.
 Our brains are more developed than them.
You will feel mad if someone said you are chicken right?
Animals can't communicate with us, so we trained them by hitting,but humans are different.We can fix bad behavior by talking then everyone will be happy.

On the other hand, some people think it is really fast to fix students behavior.
Talk to behavior,some student can't fix bad behavior but with corporal punishment it is really effective.And when the student is great person, they will appreciate to teacher who fixed their bad behavior.But it can't be effective because most of the students hate their teacher if they get hurt.

Also, pro teams think it just for student. They think teachers didn't mean it.
But some teachers hit their students when their mood is bad.So I think it is bad to do violent.We can solve it by communication.

So with this reasons,I think corporal punishment is very bad for students in school.
Because it isn't the teacher's job to hit and student aren't animal. They can communicate with them. Also, there are many punishment without violent.

We have to respect human right. Violent is bad!!

Truth of Earth

A long times ago, God was planning to make big balls.
So he prepared clay. There were lots of colors.
First, God made the biggest ball in red and he named it "Sun".
And he made a brown ball and called it "Jupiter".
During making these balls, he didn't have more clay to make just one ball.
So he melted all left over clay.
And he was sorry for that ball so he added oxygen.
It is a ball named Earth.
He put all the balls in another box to keep and named "Universe".
Nowadays, We called that balls "planets".

ODE to dictionary

Dear dictionary,

 Hello! I met you when I was in elementary school,
but at that time I hated you very much.
Because, when I first looked at you, you was so fat and heavy and there were to
many words I didn't know in your body.
And one year  ago , I met the electronic dictionary.
He is very different from you. He was really interesting. I like him better,
but I like you too,paper dictionary.

Paper dictionary, when I first looked at you, like I said,
all your body was filled with words.
I want you to give your knowledge to me.
Then I don't have to study memorizing  the words.
In my academy, I have to memorize 80 words a day!!
And if I didn't pass the test, teacher will be mad at me.
So,can't you give me some of your knowledge??
please!!

Electronic dictionary, I like you because I can research more quickly, and there are more advantages not only researching.
You can sing songs to me. And I can record my voice on you and so on.

Paper dictionary, I like you because when I can't go to school with electronic dictionary, I
can go there with you. And when I hanging with you on the street or my school,
I will look more intelligent. So I like you.

I think you guys are very important to me.I like you two very much!!
Without you, I can't live because my heart will feel heavy.
You will always beside me right??

After watching the movie...

I saw a movie called "Brave" last Friday night.

It was really interesting movie. The story is about a special princess Merida. she has a conflict with her mother.So she turns her mother to a bear.And then they work together
to solve this magic.Because of this incident they know each other's minds well.

I think she is much braver than others Disney's princess.
In the example of Snow white, she is very pretty and always clean.
She is little shy and she is really a princess.
she sings very well and end of this movie, she met a handsome prince and get married.



But the princess Merida, she's a bit strange from other princesses.
She looks dirty because her hair is messy, and her personality is different from other princesses. She is very brave. When she has problems with her mother.
She never gives up. she likes Archery and riding horses.
She want to be more free so she didn't want to get married.
I like her characteristics very much.

I thought Merida and her mother Elinor's relationship is very bad.
They think about each other often,but I think their expressions of emotion are really accustomed. However I am happy when Elinor became a bear and they tried to solve it together. Their relationship became close. It was really good watching it.

After this movie, I really felt and learned many things.In Disney's movie all the princesses are the same, so I was sick and tired of it but when I saw Merida , I wanted to be like her.
Also, I learned that even though I hated my family, I have to be good to them because they are always beside me. I always have to be thankful to them.
Also, this movie was really good. I really liked it.

My Goals

I will Introduce my goals now. I want to achieve it in 30 days.



GOAL 1. I will get up at 7 :00 AM.

STEP1. Go to bed early.
STEP2. If I hear alarm song even though I'm sleepy , I have to get up.
STEP 3.Eat much breakfast to wake my brain.

GOAL 2.Stop doing cellphones.

STEP1.know disadvantage doing cellphones.
STEP2. Reduce doing cellphones
STEP3.Make more times to talk with my friends.

GOAL 3. I will master one math problems book in 30-days.

STEP1. Reduce talking with friends.
STEP2.If I don't know questions asked to math teacher or TA.
STEP3.I will finish the book.

I am not sure I can do it.,but I will try hard!!

Hello, everyone!!
My name is park hyunji. Let me introduce myself.
First,I'm 14 years old. My birthday is August 17th.Which is in summer,so I like this weather best.
Second ,my school is soongeui girl's middle school.
I'm in class 4, grade 1. So if you go to seoul yeouido, visit me at soogeui girl's middle school,
class 4, grade 1. Last, I have four family members. My mothers, father, younger brother and me.
Sometimes my brother makes me mad, But I love my Family!!
